About Us

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Ann Hill Duncan resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and two children. In addition to running Healing Scriptures and several Internet businesses, she volunteers as a Chaplain's Assistant at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. After graduating with a degree in English from Jacksonville University in 1971, she served as the assistant registrar in JU's Registrar's office for 5 years. Upon the birth of her daughter in 1976 and son in 1980, she retired from the life of a full-time college administrator and focused on raising her children in a Christian manner and volunteering. Since then, she has served in countless volunteer capacities in hospitals, schools, and churches including PTA boards, School Advisory Council, College Day coordinator, school librarian, Ecumenical Council, and children's church director. 

Sarah Duncan served as Editor-in-Chief for Healing Scriptures. She double-majored in English and Communications, minoring in Journalism, and graduated from the University of North Florida in 1998 with top honors. She has been the Managing Editor for the American Journal of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL, since 2003.

Joshua Duncan was the development editor for the book and assisted in the website design and setup. He graduated from Jacksonville University in 2002 with top honors in Engineering Math and Physics, earned his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering & Optics from the University of Central Florida, and works for NASA.
